Terms and Conditions of Trade
Fees
For a half-day
of up to 4 hours, morning or afternoon before 13.00 hours or after 14.00 hours or evening before 23.00 hours:
£105 in English £115 in another language £160 in two languages
For a whole day
Where my services are required for longer than 4 hours, up to a maximum of 9 hours, ending before 18.00 hours:
£170 in English £185 in another language £245 in two languages
Overtime/Unsociable hours
Where my services are required in addition to the above.
07.00 hours to 23.00 hours £35 per hour thereafter
23.00 hours to 07.00 hours £40 per hour thereafter
Lectures and talks
£60 per hour £75 Minimum charge
Expenses
Any charges such as coach or taxi hire, cycle hire, site entry fees, must be paid before any tour goes ahead.
Any other out of pocket expenses must be paid on or before the last day of the tour.
Bookings
Bookings are confirmed by sending a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the pro-forma invoice total.
Settlement
Account balances are to be settled before the tour takes place.
Out of pocket expenses are to settled on the last day of each tour.
Cancellation Fees
4 to 2 weeks before the tour takes place - 25% of the invoice total.
One week or less before the tour takes place - 50% of the invoice total.
48 hours before the tour takes place - 100% of the invoice total.
These fees also apply if cancelling due to bad weather.
Insurance
People taking part in my tours do so entirely at their own risk.
As a member of the Guild of Blue Badge Guides I have full public liability insurance.
Cancellation by Myself
I reserve the right to cancel at any time, and will reimburse any monies paid to me in full.
